i need a new iPod, FAST!!!

my iPod has officially ran out of memory. :( i had a good 2 years with my iPod but i think it's time to set it free. i have the iPod nano second gen 2GB. those 2GB were actually 1.78GB!!! aaaayyy, i had 432 songs in there and i was about to add 14 more songs but iTunes said that my iPod has ran out of memory. it deleted my songs and playlists and everything. i deleted the notes and pictures i had in there but no, it's still out of memory. it can't even sync anymore because it says that my playlists are "no longer able to sync because there is no more memory" i think it's just a sign saying that i have to get a new iPod. i better get good grades after the exams because that's the only time my dad will get me a new iPod. i am getting an iPod touch. i don't i know if i should get 8GB or 16GB? hmmmm... this just makes my life so miserable. :'(
